Fabian Leimgruber fl [at] braunpat [dot] ch

Fabian Leimgruber received his doctorate in high energy physics and neurophysics from the University of Basel and CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research) in Geneva. Fabian Leimgruber then engaged in postdoctoral work at the University of Basel, at CERN as well as at the Electronic Data Processing Centre of the University of Basel as a scientific assistant. This experience enabled him to gain an in-depth knowledge of computer programming, computer networks, mobile telecommunications, the Internet and information technology. Apart from his studies in technical fields, Fabian Leimgruber also studied intellectual property law at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich. He also studied law at the University of Basel and at the University of Freiburg (Germany). Since 1999 he has worked as a patent agent at various law offices, especially in the fields of electronics, mobile telecommunications, information technology, network technology, management and software.
